Too early for holiday music!

Postby Shopper X » Sat Nov 15, 2014 8:13 pm

Today, November 15, 2014, one of my radio station presets switched over to a 24-hour holiday music format. Way too early!

I disagree. It's Christmas season. Holiday music is on the radio here as well. I love it. It's not too early at all.

Lies and slander. November is fair game. In my world anything post July is fair game as it's closer to Christmas than not but I digress.

I don't want 24 hours of carols but a few spliced into normal station music works for me at this point. I prefer light on carols until Thanksgiving has passed.

While traveling, I ran across a station over the weekend that had switched to Christmas music. It's November, I say bring it on!

Radio stations that play holiday music too early get kicked off my presets. You're dead to me!

I actually listen to holiday/Christmas music throughout the year and think the middle/end of November is the perfect time to start playing it.

I decided to listen to a few Christmas songs on my drive on Friday...and suddenly everything turned Christmas. My local coffee shop was all decked out for Christmas and I saw 3-4 cars with trees on top.
"Every flight begins with a fall", the crow said. "Look down."
