It was 8 degrees from freezing in southwest Missouri this morning. We had a dusting of snow in May 5 years ago. When the Canadian air descends down the plains the Ozarks plateau catches unseasonable weather all year round.

I cannot imagine what the 85 degree days (20 above normal) are doing to the ecosystem in Alaska. All time record temperatures will continue throughout the week and it's Just the beginning of July.

Suppose to be 97 in southwest Missouri tomorrow. We had little wind today so the humidity should jack up the heat index to around 110.
