We are having Chilli. We are from the south so when we moved to Indiana we were SHOCKED to see people putting noodles in their chilli. I had never seen anything like it. After living here for many, I still can't put noodles in my chilli. It just doesn't seem right.

WHAT!? Who the heck puts noodles in chili? Must be an Indiana thing, definitely not a northeastern thing, I'm from frigid northern NY and the only thing we do to our chili is make it spicy, the hotter the better :) No noodles, but we do include beans which is frowned upon in some parts from what I've been told ...

I dated a guy awhile back who introduced me to "Cincinnati style chilli" which is chilli over spaghetti with shredded cheese on top. I like it. I don't think of it so much as "noodles in the chilli" though. It's more like using chilli in place of spaghetti sauce.

Hmm...intresting. Indiana chilli as I know it is chilli with either spaghetti noodles in it or elbow macaroni in it. Then they add a PB&J sandwich with it  . That is how the local schools serve it and most of the people I know who grew up here. Not my style.
We put beans in our chilli and like it hot, Serve it up with corn bread! yum!
