Target
That Nikon on the front page looks pretty nice.. I need to upgrade my point-n-shoot camera so I may hit up Target for this. My DSLR is a Nikon so I want to stick with them!

Re: Target
I thought Target wasn't doing BF this year? Unless I read that news a couple weeks ago wrong about the CEO talking BF

Wonder what the rest of the ad will be. Excited to see since the CFO was thinking about throwing in the towel. Maybe it was a stunt.

Bummed they open so early!
8pm is prime family bingo time. And that's my favorite part of Thanksgiving! Hopefully they do something at midnight.

daaaaang that is nice! 21x zoom?? HOLY CRAP lol
i was stupid and bought a cheapy point and shoot this past summer. SOOOOOO regret it as i'm used to 'nicer' cameras. Only spent like $70 and it was a canon but i'm kinda kicking myself in the pants for really wanting to buy something new again. PLUS upgrade my DSLR.
this is going to be one expensive year!

That's actually an old model of that camera, the new one has even a stronger zoom. I go to a lot of sporting events and need a powerful zoom since I can't take my DSLR/lenses in with me.

Re: Target
it's a bit bulky for a point and shoot.
and it makes me wonder.. places that say you can't take in 'professional' cameras aka DSLR's. but then you have these point n shoots that look exactly like them.... how does security tell the difference?
we have a camera here at work that is similar to that nikon in body style, the lens comes off just like a DSLR, but it's not one.
because that's why i would want a point n shoot too, to use it when I can't use my DSLR but i don't want it to be mistaken for a DSLR and be confiscated from me.
electronic lines at target are a bit of a mess..... id liek to try for it online.. but the last time i tried to order a great deal of a camera on target.com it got lost in shipment which spurred a whole mess of events (do not ever use paypal on target.com!!!!!) which led me to get my crappy point n shoot i bought because i was just desperate for a camera.

I think they look for the detachable lenses. I don't believe this lens detaches. I know with my dslr, most of my lenses are pretty bulky and they can tell easily.

I despise PayPal, I won't ever use PayPal for anything. I don't even accept it on my merchant websites. paypalsucks.com

I have a Panasonic Lumix right now that I use as a PnS and I absolutely love it. It has a great zoom and wide range lens. But it's almost 3 years old, so I need to upgrade.
