I'm near Lexington, but I may end up in Louisville BF evening at Churchill Downs. I hope by then all the BF shoppers are at home sleeping, so traffic won't be a nightmare LOL It's about an hour drive for me.

I am not real familiar with the Louisville area :( I've had to go downtown a couple of times, but otherwise I've only been to Churchill Downs. Does it get really insane shopping there?
Lexington gets really busy, but usually it's bareable. Every year something new moves in, so there is quite a selection now. Frankfort, eh, not so much.
If I am going to be in Louisville BF evening I might have to make a few stops on the way ;)

Its really busy but I don't think any worse than anywhere else. I always am one of the first in line. The stores are organized and I'm usually in and out because I have a well laid out plan and we shop using a buddy system and split our list in half. There is the usual people complaining about lines and the people that get there right when they open wanting a black friday deal when there number 300 in the door. Lol! I never had a problem but in my opinion you have to approach black friday with a smile and a good attitude. Although theres always a couple every year that don't share my same opinion.

Anyone ever shop in the Clarksville area in southern Indiana? It's right over the bridge. I tried it there last year and the people at Target were Crazy! Trying to kill each other over packing spaces.

Which areas do you think have the least "crazy" people?

We normally shop the Clarksville stores.
Target & BestBuy are side by side along with Old Navy and several other stores.
Walmart & Sam's are in the same lot along with Lowes Across the Street.
Game Stop is in the strip shopping center infront of Walmart.
Sear, JcPenny's are in the Green Tree Mall just around the corner.

A couple miles down the road you have your Meijer & Kohl's.

All the stores you want and don't have to run all over God's Country to get there.

Did anyone shop Target in Louisville thanksgiving night last year? If you did, what time did you get in line and did you get the item you wanted? I am trying to figure out what is the best time to get in line after dinner.
