Re: Hrd Copy WM Ad in Hand

I will check this thread periodically in case someone need the fine print or clarification not visible in the ad scan.

Happy shopping.

Upon further review I noticed differences between my hard copy and the scanned ad. Starting with page 2, the scan says 2 base (which means it's the same throughout the country which is not true. My copy says it's page 2 is good for the following states: AZ, CO, CN, FL, KY, NH, VT, MI, MO (where I live), NE and OH.

The guarantee card fine print is on pg 31. One card per person with a limit of 8 items. Additional info is on pg 32.

Page 30 states that prices may vary in AK, HI, OK, WI, PR and online.

Attention Walmart shoppers, the minimum quantity per store starts on page 3. For example the 32" Samsung says minimum 6 per store. The router, Chromcast stick, Roku and Blur Ray player have minimum quantities listed as do many subsequent pages.

I didn't compare the AT&T and Verizon phone activation.

I spot checked most prices and they were the same. This does not mean AK, HI, OK, WI and PR will be identical.

The bottom of page 1 says online sales begin Thursday at 3:01am EST/12:01PST. Enjoy first dibs west coasters. :D

in years past the sheet sets were about $5 more than the listed adscan price here in OK.

Looks like the website has gone live. Taking forever to load, and I am getting error messages trying to add items to the cart. To be expected, I guess.

Can't get the website or my phone app to load. I did see the bf sale sing on the main page though.

Finally got my phone app to work and checked out. Wasn't a huge purchase here, though.

Pathetic showing. It's almost as if they don't expect a high volume of online shoppers right when they go live.

I've managed to get items into my cart, but I can't checkout.......

I'd call the website right now a trainwreck, but really, it's more of a plane crash into a train right next to a busy highway with pedestrians bridges at rush hour.

Got up at 3 for the sale. It took me until 5:30 to get checked out. Got most of the things I wanted. I was very frustrated but I'm glad it's done! Now I can watch football. :D

ll probably go to Walmart around 7 or 8 tonight for clothes and DVDs. Probably could wait till in the morning.

I wouldn't have expected WM to warm up extra servers for people wanting to shop from home. Store customers walk out with more merchandise and less money. Kudos to those who got through their purchase. Hope your orders are not canceled ala Best Buy from past BF's.

I'll sharpen my elbows, darken my scowl and ease through this evenings crowd's to be out the store by 6:15 with an empty list, full arms and some money for stocking stuffers.

Got my newspaper with the stack of BF ads this morning. Alas there wasn't a Walmart ad in there. Someone messed up.
