Postby vbryant1972 » Tue Nov 18, 2014 9:03 am

on the first ad scan from best buy page 5 had deals starting on 11/20 with the prices covered, the "official" ad doesn't have this page. anyone know if they are actually having it?

I think I saw something the other day that said those pages had been updated and the prices were now being advertised. I could be wrong though.

If any of you guys are looking for a cheapy laptop comparable to the $99 one at Staples on BF, I just got this in my email from BB:

I personally wouldn't buy it, but thought maybe someone on here may be interested. :)

you really should get a touch screen with windows 8. 2Gb RAM is not enough. 4-8 def else your laptop will crawl.

As I stated previously:

I don't need a laptop. Already bought hubby's Christmas laptop several weeks ago, and both I and my kiddo's are less than a year old, so not in the market for one. Just remembered that I saw several people interested in the Staples BF one, which is just as craptastic as this one, and thought I'd help a bit. ;)

The HP is a touch screen,

The Asus has Kindle software and a trial version of Windows 365, weighs 4.7 pounds to the HP's 7.

A place like cnet will list the bloatware and let you decide how much of it to get rid of. I put a few items on my new items that are either free or low cost ans super efficient.

So spec wise is the Asus better??
Although I still kinda want to try for that $159 HP walmart will have but I think it might be slim to none chance I can get that one.

If you like touch screens the HP will be part of the 6pm sale and the one hour guarantee will give you a peace of mind. The $159 HP is the spotlight item and I bet you"ll need to be in the corral at least three hours prior since it's essentially the same specs for way less money.

The Asus is the best value laptop for $249.
