No sympathy needed here. As of now, I am not scheduled to work until 10PM that evening. It will still be hell, but clean-up/recon mission type hell at that point...

So it turns out the Legos my sister wants for her children is the Walmart one.

I am hopeful it is online Thursday morning so I won't have to brave the store but I doubt I will be that lucky.

Is that when Walmart started online last year? I know I did some online but I couldn't remember when.

Oops. My goof. It started Thursday morning. One year I had Thanksgiving on a Wednesday and it's been throwing me ever since. It was iirc 3amish last year on Thursday. For blurays anyway.

I was just trying to figure out how much of a savings they've giving.

I was going to try for the $159 even if I did get the voucher for the $249 but I think I'll like the $249 one more since it's a touch screen.
Not sure if that's worth $100 but oh well lol

Fair warning: it's a Celeron processor. It's cheap for a reason.

I don't need anything fancy. Just something good enough to print shipping labels at home lol. I have a Mac book pro I bring home from work on the weekends.

The Acer is 11" - the two HPs are both 15"

I would actually prefer the smaller but I'm pretty pro - HP.

I'm the same way that I don't need anything fancy, but I would never stand in line for one of those $99-159 door busters, I'd rather have something that will last a few years. That's why I'm hoping to snag the $349 HP (i7 with 1TB HDD & 8GB RAM) at Office Max. Probably won't happen since their sale starts at 6pm and I won't be able to get there til at least 10:00. My closest store is 50 miles away and is in a more populated area so my chances will be slim

I did not see this model among the four HP's in the OM/OD ad. Can anyone help me out here?

Um, I don't see it either. I even did a search on the ad.

with light use a $159 laptop will last you a few years. I bought a $400 HP some years ago and it lasted me FIVE years and that's with heavy duty graphic design usage. I bought it to last me a couple of years until I could buy something bigger and more expensive but then realized I didn't need to waste my money.

Now I don't plan to do my graphic design on a $159 laptop but I probably could if I needed to (but I don't have the software).
