I just picked up the Chromebook with the $50.00 gift card; and the table tennis set. Not problems so far. Two major items checked off my list - now I can focus on the small stuff on Black Friday. $5.00 PJ's and movies here I come.

I arrived at 530 am at the store and I was the second person in line for three (3) televisions. I got mine but others were complaining and the associate did a good job explaining it does state three (3) per store. The deal is all week so it is hit and miss when the shipments come into the store. The moral of the story is, get up early and get in line if you want the best deals!

Went to the other walmart in town this morning. Got to electronics desk at 8:05 and all $115 TV's taken, looks like they had 8 in stock and a couple people had two in their cart.

Did score one of the $75 Jawbones they had plenty of them. You can sometimes get new ones of these cheaper but small pink is what i needed and they can be hard to find. If can get a NIB one that is cheaper, will just return what I got.

Manager did not know about the sale at this wallmart until 6:30 pm last night and did not know it was also on-line until this morning.

We snagged one of the Lego Friends sets for $39 online, the same one we paid $59 for 2 weeks ago at TrU. We are going to see if TrU will pricematch it, other wise we will return that one :) The only thing I am fighting for is the $99 xBox 360, then off to Game Stop for the $15 60gig HD :)

Got it online at 5am....went through fine. Logged into my Wal-Mart online account just now and it says the order is being cancelled

As is stated in several other threads, never trust BF shopping online. Ever. Unless you have it in your hands, you do not have it. This is very common for stores to do.

Some of the people at the WM this morning said the same thing, that they tried to order right away but was instantly "sold out."

Wonder if ANYBODY actually was able to buy the $115 TV on line.

You have to realize you're competing with the entire nation to get a handful of TVs. Say each store had 5 TVs (I didn't check the count, just making up a number here), then online maybe had 50 in stock. Instead of fighting with 100 people at your local store to get those 5 TVs, you're competing with 4 million people online to get those 50 TVs. Usually hot deals online sell out lightning fast. Same thing happens on Amazon and other sites.
