I am sure it would help a lot of people out, but, I am thinking, that would be a nightmare, with the crowds in the store,

Yea think the mentioned this last year it would cause to many issues. I think KMart use to allow it and when it would cause so much trouble they stopped it.

I thought I read somewhere that layaway would be allowed on bf at kmart.
I'm addicted!

Kmart WILL do layaway on BF. The lines are terribly long, but it is open...

Thoe I've been out of the BF game for the past couple years (there's nothing more I can buy Lol). This is all marketing on wal-marts part, you can't possibly expect them to go in the "black" more than any other year. It'll be the same old deals year after year. I doubt they will really excel in anything different than last.

Just my 2 cents.

I will not step foot inside a Wal-mart on BF. The last year I did, an employee insisted that no lines could form at a specific product although they had "line starts here" signs all over the store. She dispersed a very orderly calm line, ushered in personal friends so that they were closest to the prodcts and then left. I had been waiting for over 4 hours already. It turned into a mob scene after that. I vowed to never enter a Walmart on BF again, that was 3 years ago.

Throw out the bad apple and enjoy the rest. Listening to a non-managerial WM employee hurts my brain. Granted a few at my local have been there a while and have good 4-1-1. An overwhelming majority of them know less than you so stay away and open up a spot for another shopper of you want.

Kmart, Target et al will be more than welcome to see you in their aisles.

Forgot the ad came out on 11-08 last year which was the earliest ever. I don't see a repeat.

Funny stuff with WM sending the bfads webmaster a warno letter about premature exposure even though the company was mostly responsible for leaking last year's flier.

I enjoyed the direct address at the top: "Valued Affiliate / Address / Email Address"

What happened? The guy running the Access database with the list of BF site owners quit and took his file with him?

That is very true. I think they even do it on Thanksgiving when they are open.

I remember years ago, when Walmart did lay away on bf. my oldest 2, now 18 and 15, were little and we told them that you put things in your cart that you want, then take to back of store to show Santa your list. Lol. At that time, walmart was the only local store! Ahhh, the memories....

That's really cute. My mom used to do special things when it came to telling Santa my list...of course, Santa always encouraged me to check out the Sears Wishbook lol!

FYI, outside of my Massachusetts (where stores are not allowed to open on Thanksgiving Day) Walmart there was a banner saying that the store would open at 1:00 am on Black Friday. I'm not certain whether other Massachusetts stores will also be opening at that time, but there is the possibility that the 1:00 am open time might be state-wide.
