I am not new to BF but new to shopping at Ace on BF and for hardware. Hubby wants a new drill for Christmas and I was checking out the Dewalt drill for him and wondered how good it is? It seems like a nice one- but I am power tool-challenged so to speak  Anyone have any feedback? Good deal at Ace or wait and see what other stores might have to offer on BF? Thanks in advance for your help

So far, its a really good deal, you still have Sears, Lowes and Home Depot ads to come out, speaking from my personal experience, I have bought both the Craftsman and Ryobi drills in the past years, both are nice tools, for around the house stuff, I built my front porch, and three decks in the back of my house, The biggest problem is the batteries, after a couple years, they are garbage,
I can not speak about the new Craftsman stuff
Bottom line, there will be good deals

This drill has the new Li-ion batteries which should last longer and perform better than the old NiMH and NiCd batteries.

It should be a whole lot better battery.

Thanks all for the feedback! I am going to wait and see what other stores are putting on sale. He has a drill now that I guess is a piece of crap, and really likes Dewalt and keeps saying he wants one. He does need it only for home projects. Happy BF shopping!
