Wonder when their ad is coming out now that Home Depot has broken. Hopefully the battery deal is better.

It has to mounted to the wall studs. and most of the plaster and lath walls the studs are not the normal 16" spacing

Anyone comparing batteries, Lowe's and Home Depot both have batteries. They average out to $0.16 per battery at BOTH places. Lowe's has a better BRAND though. I'd go with Lowe's.

Put some 2x4 or 1x6 boards horizontally on your wall, anchored into your wall studs. Then, attach the TV mount to those. It will look like this with | representing your wall studs and ---- representing the boards you put on your wall, and + being the spots where to will screw the boards to the studs:

| |
----+----------------+-----
| |
| |
| |
| |
----+----------------+-----

I think that jcfrank2 had intended the picture to look more like this:

Code: Select all

    |                |
----+----------------+-----
    |                |
    |                |
    |                |
    |                |
----+----------------+-----
    |                |

Tic tac toe, interesting approach
