So I am shopping for a Christmas Tree this year, saw one in target ad as a doorbuster for $30. Do alot of shoppers shop for Trees on Bolack Friday? Im just wondering what the likelyhosod would be that I would get one?

i would make sure you're in line before they open... but as long as you're able to get in the door shortly after they open you should have no problem getting one.

i think cheap trees are pretty popular, but my friend went after one a few years ago and i think she got to the store right as they opened and was able to get one.

Unhelpful answer, but totally depends. I bought a pre-lit 6' tree at Target around 3 years ago for $25 several hours after opening.

So Target posted their surprise doorbusters, and there is a little asterisk at the bottom of the page saying these doorbusters will not be available in store until 4am on 11/23. I don't see the asterisk on any particular item, so I'm guessing this means a new wave of doorbusters at Target at 4am? Does anyone else read it this same way?

Does anyone know if Targets 'Find in Store' function is kept up to date with current stock on hand? I'd like a Nook but I don't want to drive that far to Target only to find they are sold out and the online thing wasn't updated yet.

I would not trust it at all. Sometime last summer had to exchange something for another size. Service counter person looked and told me there was 1 left in stock. I went to the department to find it for myself and found 6, and this was in June. I would bet those update every few hours or maybe once a day.

The website sucks. Doesn't give you accurate inventory info. I had to go to the store tonight and I got the last of the mercedes kid trax powerwheels ride on toy

Thanks for the replies. I decided to grab the Sears ad and try to pricematch at Walmart. Somewhat surprised but they did it!

I managed to get to Target around 10pm last night and got the Tree I wanted. They had plenty in stock. But I went ahead and got it, cause they would probably be out by Saturday.

Beware! I have found the Find Item In Store function on the website to not be updated often enough to be relied upon when it's not Black Friday and made long fruitless trips to stores only to find that that Target doesn't have the item after all.

yea you won't want to trust that if it's a popular item.
the item COULD be in the store.. but someone could have placed it in a different department while wandering around the store.

we got to target about 8:30. got into the store about 9:05 - out by 9:15 :) i love our target!
my friend and i split up. i headed to the small kitchen electrics to get the crockpot i wanted and the electric griddle for her. had to ask an employee were the griddles were. they said they only got TWO of them and wasn't sure if any where left. but there was one!! :)

I'm still kicking myself over something stupid I did last night. I accidentally picked up a 3ds game instead of a ds game - wreck it ralph - and realized it when i got to the register. So when I sent my daughter back to grab it, they were gone. So disappointed! But other than a couple of missed video games at walmart, had a pretty good experience.

Target is my favorite BF store to shop at. I had to go in on Tuesday for some things, and I noticed they had the 32" TV for $147 in the BF Add in stock. I picked one up then...knowing that I ran the risk of having to return it if they stuck to their new policy of not adjusting for BF prices on the day of the sale...but, I didn't have to. They adjusted my receipt at 5am on BF with no qualms at all. Love me some Target!
