That was a nice surprise for tonight at work

FYI, the New England version of the ad says that the Thursday 8pm and 10pm sales will take place:
- at 12:01 am Friday in Maine
- at 1:00 am Friday in Massachusetts and Rhode Island

People will tear each other apart trying to get those $1.48 towels.

Not worth black eyes and trampling chaos. Ha. Anyone that does the Walmart thing, good luck! You have my support.

There are a couple of things I'd go after - that $20 router, for starters, and possibly some of the movies - but there are three things holding back my enthusiasm about going after WM on Thanksgiving/BF:

1. I remember how Walmart has been in the past, and I annually vow never to go back the following year.

2. Our local Walmart is currently being torn apart for expansion into a Supercenter-model format, losing about 1/4 of the available parking and one of the entrance driveways for renovation space/construction vehicle/tool storage.

3. Going to Walmart means NOT going to Old Navy. Deals throughout the evening/early morning, or getting New Super Mario Bros U for free with a $40 purchase? (This doesn't even factor in OTHER deals, such as Target and Toys "R" Us!)

Ummm where are the little girl toys?? Very disappointing. Seems like there is so much emphasis on electronics, the kids got left of of this one.

Totally agree....I miss the $10 CPK Babies....
I see a few things but not so much that it will hurt my feelings if I don't get it. Need to get my angel from the Angel Tree and maybe some things will be more relevant.

Interesting that Walmart is doing it so early this year. Wasn't it at midnight last year? Or 5am?

Could be a major change in direction for Black Friday.

Last year was 10/12/5, I think. Glad I'm 6 months pregnant and had to go to the bathroom at 4am! Nice to see this ad!

Well, This sucks. I'm in Wisconsin....The prices for us are AWFUL. Sigh. I've never seen the prices this much higher before! Not sure I want to cross into Illinois just for a TV.

Walmart is surprising. The furniture chair they have for 199.00 on black friday, is on their site now for 198.00..Guess its the item they are going to increase for black friday..
