Tips on bathroom usage while in line...

Postby danimustng » Thu Oct 16, 2008 11:50 am

I will be with either my Mom this year or my Husband. I know this sounds weird but whats a plan for going to the bathroom? Does the sore let you go, do you look for a 24 hour store near by etc...

The store doesn't let you in to use the bathroom if you waiting over night because they are closed, you'll have to find a 24hr gas station or something

Normaly there is about 4 of us that wait in front of bestbuy. Right accross the street happens to be a 24hour CVS and we just walk over 2 or 3 at a time.

If you got a big group and your all going to run over to the store real quick, tell the people around you in line that your running over to the restroom real quick and ask if they want you to pick anything up for them. Picking up a drink or snack is worth it for them holding your spot in line and im sure they wont mind if your nice to them.

We had a rather convenient 24 hour mcdonalds right across the street.

We also had a safeway available.

Last year I was at the BB in Las Vegas and that's what we did. The nearby stores and food places were nice about us using their facilities as well. ALso, there was a porta potty set up just for BF in the parking lot. My sis gave me a pack of my niece's baby wipes. They came in handy for the porta potty at 3 am, lol.

We had this convo last year.
What we had was a camping potty set up in our van.
Worked out really good. There was really nothing
open 24 hrs as far as restroom use goes.

If you are male, you can get away with a contraption called "Sneak-a-Leak" and not have to leave your place in line.

I use the contraption of watering the nearest tree and hope that its not the exact time some police patrol car decides to cruise by.

People were doing this where my best buy is. Except in place of a tree it was a Lowes parking lot. The whole area is devoid of any kind of wooded area unless you walk for quite a bit. The Lowes parking lot had no lights so thats why they were doing it. Me and my wife just took turns driving about a minute or two away to a 24hr gas station. The bonus there is that it contains a 24hr Dunkin Donuts as well.
