This is a good article for those who don't already know that Emerson is junk. Hopefully nobody wastes their money on an Emerson TV this year.

People will still rush to buy it, Seiko was the big piece of garbage last year, Element the year before. With all the good deals on the major brands, it doesn't make sense to buy trash.

I thought about a cheaper one but these reviews have scared me off. I think if I do get one it will be the 32" Samsung at Target for 227.

i'm thinking i will get that one as well - if it's available online. i have a samsung 47" that i bought way back when they were still over $1k and i LOVE that thing. I have an off-brand in my bedroom and you can tell the quality is seriously lacking.

That 42" Sharp 1080p / 120 hz LED looks pretty good for $299.99 at BB.

We bought a Westinghouse many years ago, probably in 05 and it still is working great. We are in the market for a bigger one for our new living room, but will move this one to a bedroom in our new house. And it was a Black Friday purchase.

I just bought a 42" led RCA for 299 off of walmarts presale. I didn't notice that name in the article and the reviews seemed pretty good. Any thoughts on it?

Any thoughts on the 50" Element tv that will be sold at Target for $229? I'm on a super tight budget this year=/
