Kmart layaway?

Postby azerigold » Mon Nov 12, 2012 7:21 am

In general... it looks like you have to put at least $300 in layaway? Is that right?
I had been thinking about putting some stuff in layaway and getting it out on Dec 1st, but if that's the case then I won't be able to do it as I was only planning to putting a little over $100 in there.

No, there is no minimum purchase for Kmart's regular 8-week layaway according to their published policies:

Kmart also has a special 12-weak layaway which is available for purchases of $300 or more. Perhaps that is what you were thinking of?

FYI, Kmart has a current promotion where they are waiving the service fee on new layaway purchases.

Thanks! I was hoping I read it wrong :) I shouldn't read into things like that when I am so tired LOL
Whew...i am glad, because I only need layaway for about a week  If I use it at all. But I think I will :)
