In the past, I had some ideas of things (gifts) I wanted to get, so I would start
looking at ads asap so I would know whither to buy on line or wait for BF. This year I think I will be looking at ads more, because I have so few ideas of what to get.

Our group begins planning and budgeting beginning of October. Our team starts building things we'll need, financing all of our equipment, and talking to the local media and working together with Best Buy to be sure everything is ready by mid November.

All in all, we put about 45-50 days not planning, brainstorming, funding, and constructing all of the prep work.
