Circuit City/D-Link Router & USB Adapter Rebate

Postby Willdathrill » Fri Nov 28, 2008 6:29 pm

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anybody out here purchased the D-Link Wireless N Router and D-Link Adapter that is free after rebate, a $59.99 to $79.99 value in the Circuit City Black Friday promotion. I purchased them online, and was never sent a rebate form for it. I searched the Circuit City website for it, and couldn't find it. All they have is a $30 rebate, but not one for the full refund of the adapter price. I called Circuit City's customer service, and was on the phone for over 25 minutes with an extrememly rude employee named Mark. He told me that they "must have run out of rebates" and I was out of luck. Has anybody purchased it and was able to get/find the rebate form for it? Thanks.

I bought it in the store and there were two different rebates (I got the DIR-655 router and DWA-160 adapter)

$30 rebate to D-Link (program 11783)
$30 to CC (program PAKZ0)

Note than I also got an instant savings for my adapter for $20.

If you go to www.ccityrebates.com you should be able to find them if you look around. I was going to buy them online too, but I wanted to make sure I had the rebate forms, and since I couldn't figure out which was which, I just ran to the store this morning to get them. Maybe if you go to the store they'll give you a copy of the form.

Thank you for your help. The adapter I purchased was the DWA-130. The only one I found on that site was for $10. They have it plastered all over the official Circuit City site about this special deal, but the rebates for that adapter aren't to be found. Thanks for trying to help me.

I wish I had gotten the DWA-130. I got the DWA-552 and I am having signal issues with it. 1 bar, 2 at best :(

The way I understand the $30 rebate is it is kinda like two rebates in one.
First:
Total Offer Amount of $30.00 with purchase from All group(s).

DLK DIR625 Qty: 1 OR
DLK DIR655 Qty: 1 OR
DLK DIR615 Qty: 1 OR
DLK DGL4500 Qty: 1 OR
DLK DIR628 Qty: 1 OR
DLK DIR825 Qty: 1

Second:
DLK DWA552 Qty: 1 Offer Amount: $30.00 OR
DLK DWA130 Qty: 1 Offer Amount: $30.00 OR
DLK DWA160 Qty: 1 Offer Amount: $30.00

which would total $60

then you would have to send in the barcodes from each item. Anyways, that is the way I understand the rebate.
