Sweet ad, that was glory days of Best Buy. BB was priority store number one.

I purchased the video card, Call of Duty (the original) for $10, Half-Life, and a couple of CD's, and some DVD's

that was back when Best Buy actually had some competition! I miss circus city and compusa for that reason alone, their prices not so much

I noticed in one of the 2014 ads that someplace (may have been Sears or Kmart?) had a off-brand DVD player for $19.99 so I guess compared to that $17.99 player in '04 they went up in price over the last 10 years LOL

Wow, what a great ad...back when there was competition and technology was in transition. I would have been all over some of those computer bundles, mini dvd players and video game deals. (I know I purchased some of them  )

I also love those 4 or 6 hour window for the deal...manageable and a way to try to keep you in the store with sales on other items. No interest on storewide purchases of $299.99 and up until Jan 2006. The ad also advertising that you could shop on Thanksgiving online as well for most items was priceless as well.

I truly miss those days that presented it like this.

Hahaha, that's great. 500 bucks for a 20" tv. And almost a grand for the 52". And $20 for a 256 memory card.

But then again, in 10 years, somebody will laugh at people for buying an outdated LED 50" for 225.
