Pumpkin is the current code to use. :)

For those of you wondering if they are on the up and up. I heard about restaurant.com on this forum and have been using them for 2 years and I have never had a problem using any of the certificates. They also make great gifts for family and friends whether near or far!
Life is uncertain . . . . . eat dessert first and then go shopping!

Don't you have to buy a minimum of, like $30 first or something? I went to buy one, but I saw that they all had a minimum purchase price.

In my experience most of the $25 gc's have a min of $35 before alcohol, tip or tax. The $50 gc min of $75 and $100 gc min of $150 usually. My husband and I use it for date night. You just have to be sure to check out the menu to make sure you'll actually spend the minimum.

They all have restrictions. Most of them have a $35 minimum. Some have exclusions including items that cannot be purchased and days they cannot be used.

I bought a pair of certificates for $2 each last year. We just used one and our bill was $41 (which included the gratuity), so we paid a total of $18 for a $41 meal. If you can find a restaurant you are interested in, and can live with some of the restrictions, these certificates are a very nice deal.

But these wouldn't seem to work as gifts. Thanks for the answers!

Certificate restrictions..

Postby robertcs1 » Tue Oct 27, 2009 11:41 am

Be aware of the terms and conditions before you buy multiple certificates, as they have many limitations such as:
Limit one redemtion per party, per month, per restaurant
Limit on gift certificate per redemption. Only one certificate can be used per party, even if the party is seated at seperate tables and receives seperate checks (interesting huh?)
No cash back upon redemption.
Minimum food purchase is $45.
