Cabelas on BF... they have the Wii Hunting Pack. Includes the Wii and 2 games - Cabelas Legendary Adventures and Cabelas Dangerous Hunts 2009. $299

I haven't seen too many bundles, and this one says it is a $329 value, so only $30 off.

i just got my buddy one on gamestop.com

just the wii itself, not the bundle as he didn't want the games on it.

I had been searching and searching for online wii's (just the stock wii) but it proved hard to locate.

Barnes and noble online also has the wii for $249

good luck guys

ok i am SO upset! I checked the wii status on gamestops website... and it was canceled! W T F!#! So upset, because it's not even for me but a friend who i'm ordering it for. So I searched around and found the same thing for less from electronics botique. Unfortunately though, their website is "powered by gamestop" hahahaha. So, we'll see what happened. But they shouldn't cancel 2 wiis, would they? Hope not i've done the best that i can to help my buddy.

The worst part about it though is that they didn't even send an email or call to say they were going to cancel the order!

I'm really suprised. I decided not to do Black Friday this year since there was nothing that really struck my fancy. Well...the Wii at Sam's did before I found out the price was wrong...which I expected to come down cuz that would have been an INSANE price.

Anyway, I still didn't want to get up and go rushing down to Game Stop or Walmart early.

We showed up at Walmart at about noon. They still Wii's. They had 3 in the case and I would assume they had more in the back but can't be sure.

I expected those to be gone! I wonder how many they had come in?? Maybe the demand for those is finally over? OR maybe I just lucked out...who knows.

I think that the shortage might be over, finally. Once a bunch of Black Friday-purchased Wii's show up on Ebay and remain unsold or sell below retail price, then the craze will be over. Perhaps we might even see a glut of Wii's in the stores. But, perhaps I'm wrong and once the stockpile of Wii's run out in a week or two, they'll again be scarce.

I'm in NY and I just got back from Target. Theyhad the Wii for $249 and they had a ton of them left. I don't think the wii's are hard to find anymore. I was going to wait closer to christmas and sell mine on ebay. I'm thinking it won't sell because they are now available virtually everywhere. I will just keep it if it doesn't sell.

Well part of the thing around here too, and possibly everywhere else, is 4 places had em. Kmart had them Thanksgiving, Shopko had some *or so my friend told me* Gamestop had them, and Walmart. So it could be that everyone already got them from one of the many stores offering them. Definately think they are easier to get your hands on.

My brother works at a Walmart about an hour away from here and he said they did sell out all of theirs, but it wasn't immediately...it took a couple hours.

Here on the West Coast the Wii consoles seem pretty easy to come by. Make a few phone calls, or drive to your favorite store on Sunday morning, and you'll most likely find one. We didn't get one last year because of all the insanity.

However, certain Wii games, like Wii Fit, Mario Kart, and Guitar Hero Complete Band Set have been much harder to find. Also, whenever the "value" games drop from $20 to $10 online, they disappear within minutes. I had to get up at 6am this last Sunday to get Wii Fit, and the stores all sold out in the first 20 minutes of opening.

ok so after having been really upset because of 3 canceled wii orders arrrrrrrrrrrrg i ended up going hunting in the stores.

Yes, they are still in demand. Yes, they're still hard to come by. And yes, I did find one, the LAST one in the store. The guy didn't want to sell it to me because I would purchase the additional "insurance" or games, controllers and everything else he was trying to push on me!

so my friend and his family are extremely happy and i'll be shipping it out tomorrow!

Good luck everyone!##!#!!@

You can sign up for text alerts for the Wii and Wii Fit on Amazon.com. Amazon (but not the resellers who sell on Amazon) sells for the regular price; and no tax for most. The text alert is only for when Amazon has them in stock, and not for when the resellers have them.

I received a text alert and ordered my Wii and Wii Fit last Friday morning. Took all of about 2 minutes. :)
