Smaller TVs

Postby pandagirl » Mon Nov 09, 2009 2:57 pm

I know this is small, but I am looking for a 12-14 inch TV for a bedroom and a basement. Any suggestions? I haven't seen any advertised. Sorry if this posted twice, my work computer is strange! Thanks!

I don't think they sell LCDs that small for TVs; you want an LCD, right? Just get a 19" :)

Haha! It won't fit in the spot, unfortunately. I don't mind if it's not an LCD, we just need something that works. Our old ones do not!

A 14" tube tv would take up much more space than a 19" LCD. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they don't make LCD TVs that are smaller than that.

Even length wise? I can fit it width wise. It's a deep space, just not a very wide one. I'll probably just get a 19 inch anyway when I see one out shopping on BF.

That depends. Some tube TVs have a pretty big frame around the screen, while most LCD panels have a fairly small bezel. You should take measurements of your space, and then look up any doorbuster 19" TVs online to see if they would fit in your space.

I put a 12" LCD tv in my moms bathroom when I remodeled it a few years ago so they DO make them. I will look at the brand next time I am over there and let you know. It fits perfect in the niche I made above her bathtub so she can watch and relax.
