nope, nothing I need. I may hit them later in the morning for some cheap dvd's, but several other stores will have cheap dvd's too, but I won't be there overnight.

OK, I am going to be positive, and say YES.
the secret sales have been where its at for the last few years, and no doubt will be this year as well. a bit of concern is getting the SS info in time to finalize plans.

elle,
the secret squirrel sale has been going on for like 2-3 years now. not a long time, 10 years or so as you asked. but for the time that is has been going on, the main printed ad has been very weak, like this year, and the SS is what saved it.

I have to agree with tobinsky and g-man here. I am really undecided. Now I might not be able to film my new documentary :(

At this point, the store that has the best 37" LCD for sub $500 will be receiving my biz this year... unless the BB ad gains enough deals that it's worth scalping. ::crosses fingers::

I believe last year BB released their specials just a few hours before TG day sale, not days. If I'm right that'll mess my plan to know where am I camping this year. :(

Huh? I'm 99.9999999999% certian they were released two days before the sale if not two days before the week of (on the weekend before).

On another forum I have a post from a thread that was created specifically for the 229 toshiba last year that was dated 11-19-07 (and I assume it was the first one).

I was originally going to, but after seeing the ads, I won't be camping out at Best Buy this year. I found better deals on newegg.com now at regular price ($14.99 for 8GB USB flash drive, $20 on BB ad). Unless BB and CC introduce better deals before BF, then I'd say I'll be staying home this year for the first time in 3 years.

Gotta say no on this one. I was looking for a few good deals (Blu ray, HDD drives) and CC and BB fell short. I must say that it is really disappointing to, since for the last few years I loved(as crazy as it is) camping out and socializing. Of course, I was also a CompUSA nut, who had alot of friends there, so I will really be missing that this year...
