Christmas Music - Too Soon?

Postby jgm8 » Tue Nov 04, 2008 10:38 pm

Okay - I have been thinking about BF for, well, to be honest, since July. While anxiously awaiting ads & surfing the net for current deals, I turn on the radio and scan stations. To my surprise - Christmas music! It is playing 24/7 thanks to WNIC 100.3 in Michigan.... I couldn't turn it off. It kept a smile on my face the rest of the day.

It's never too early for Christmas music! Christmas music is so full of joy, happiness and peace that I sometimes listen to it throughout the year if I feel stressed or just need a little of the Christmas spirit.

A few years ago, we had a Christmas in July party. I got out a few decorations and one of my small trees and suprised the kids with it. I had bought and wrapped each of them a special gift to put under the tree. I turned the a/c way down and we baked cookies and drank hot chocolate while listening to Christmas music. The kids still talk about how that was the "coolest" thing we've done.

I've been thinking about BF since early August so you're not the only one!!

Two weeks ago at Target I saw their Christmas CD display and had to buy one, I haven't listened to it yet, I'm waiting until it's closer to Thanksgiving!

Yesterday I saw 3 comercials within an hour for Santas Enchanted Forest. Its like a carnival that opens at night with christmas lights, shows, games, and free rides. (santasenchantedforest.com to hear the song that gets stuck in everyones head)

I was checking the site almost monthly all year, looking for any sign of life. All I would ever see was the unregistered users online. :(
