Last year I went to Toys r Us first and then ran over to Target. Target didn't open until 6 but I was probably over 100 in line. But I still got what I wanted which was the Guitar Hero 3 Bundle for the kiddos. They weren't there when I finally made it into the store but after I asked they brought some more out. I will say that Target was the worst I'd ever seen it. But then I usually go to Best Buy later in the morning so I've never done that.

I'm always an overnighter @ BB, usually out of there by 5:15-5:20am, then head over to Target a few blocks down and wait for them to open. I'd say about 100th in line. Always get what I went to get.

I try to arrive at Target around 4:30 to 5 and they open at 6. I am usually around the 20 something in line. The line does start to blow up just after that. But they usually have plenty of what everyone is looking for, that is why I like them.

We hit up Target after Walmart. So we get to Target at about 5:15 or so and are usually 30th or so. Our Target is a bit different since its attached to a mall, people can either wait outside or at the inside enterance. We split up two outside and two inside and we've always gotten what we've wanted.

I don't think that I have ever had a problem at Target. Although they open at 6. We got there about 4, thinking that they were going to open at 5 and were 4th in line. I think Target is after the Walmarts, Best Buys, and Kohls.

Hey you guys, don't forget about ad match. I always do Walmart first and do as much ad match as possible. Two years ago Walmart didn't have one of my Target items so we went there after. We walked right in but it looked to have a really bad check out line, after we got our items we realized that everyone was in one line and there were several registers open so we walked directly up and checked out at an open one with no one in line.

Sadly last year was my second year at target. No organization. It is aweful. No tickets. Just a free for all. I got there about 3-30 am would say I was about 30-35 inline. I did get 2 of the 89$ digi cams after being pinned to the electronics counter for over 20 minutes and I got the lcd tv with the dvd player that I wanted. I wanna do bb this year but I am not that brave to be out there like that.

went by target last year around 2 am.... and there were only a handful of people already in line..... so we made it our 2nd stop.... by then we were only 75 people back.... we got everything we wanted...... most of the people ran to the electronics...but i was looking for the bedding and toys...... so i didn't even have to sprint down the asile..... target should always be a 2 or 3 stop.......

2 hrs early = 150-200 people/pairs

It isn't awful, but inside is HELL!!! Go in a straight line, grab it, and head to nearest register. Their lines snake forever, and since their cashiers are high school, college, and senior citizens, be prepared to be waiting forever.

Depends where you live...

I live in New Hampshire and I was at the Target in Somersworth, NH 1 hour prior to open and I was 2nd in line. Everyone was across the street at Wal-Mart and those people were there for 6+ hours. :P

SO EXCITED FOR BF THIS YEAR!
