QVC - Christmas Shopping (9/25/08)

This is off topic but related to Christmas shopping...
QVC Home shopping will hold a "Christmas in September" all day event, Thursday Sept. 25th

Lots of goodies to watch and buy!

yeah starting with July they do a Christmas show on the 25th of every month (July 25, August 25 and now September ), but Im guessing once it hits December there will be more show daily.

Surprisingly no. They do the July-November Christmas shows on the 25th of the month - then sporadic shops to try to dump leftover inventory in December ("Clearance") - July 25th is always my unofficial start to Christmas - LIFETIME network has a Christmas movie marathon in July too (25th) I post all the scheduled and links on my website every year.

I'm trying to save as much as possible for BF, but I'm tempted to do a little holiday shopping, so I'll check QVC out on the 25th.

I like QVC but I love HSN the most especially around Christmas. I have found some great deals and the flex pay is great especially around Christmas time.

By the way, since today is the 24th, starting at 10pm ET, QVC is starting their countdown to Christmas with special sales all day October 25th.

I can't believe that we are only 2 months till Christmas and 35 days til BF!!!!

Oh I know - wow it came fast! 2 months left!
yes 10pm EST tonight starts the actual show kickoff then ALL DAY on Saturday 10/25

Look for another show next month 11/25

I know I can't believe it! I have to ask you XMASDVD, are you one of those people that stay up all night during these QVC things?

I love it when I tune in and there is that proverbial shopper who is on air at 3 in the afternoon say: "I've been up since 1:00 am doing all my shopping and I am so happy!"

Actually no - I love that they are on - it let's me know Christmas is near - but I actually don't watch.
