While the generator will give you power I dont know how great of an idea this would be. I have one but wont be bringing it along.
You would need to keep it away from the line in order to keep the gases away.
I know a lot of people do try and get some sleep and the noise prevent them from this.

Really? a couch?

If you plan on doing all this with a generator/couch/TV, Maybe you should ask around and see if anyone you know can lend you a projector. This would make the screen big enough for everyone to watch.

we're hopin the generator will be out of the way enough for gas and all. if we set up like we did last year we'll have plenty of space. and getting sleep would become an issue but we really only need it for certain points. not the whole night. mainly it'd be for the few days were there before everybody else when we're bored...once people start coming to talk to we'd put most of our equipment up (cept for the food and propane stuff)

the couch is basically just because we hate chairs. haha. the projector has crossed our minds but availability would be tough tryin to get one but i like the idea of talking to people around.

don't hate on my couch idea though.

I got a generator, projector and a 12 foot inflatable projector screen. But have never brought them along because of the generator, its just to loud(maybe its just the one I have).

With all that stuff in your car, you won't have any room for purchased items.

It depends on how much money you spent on the Generator as to how loud it is. We use Honda eu2000i generators at work and you can barely hear them running just 10 feet away, but they are $1000 each. You can buy 2000 watt generators for the $300 to $400 range but you can't get enough extension cord to get them somewhere you can't hear them.
