Not thrilled with any of the ads (but also not thrilled with my budget...lol.) It gets so much harder as kids gets older and prefer pricier items, too.

Staples and BB will still get me out of the house...or maybe not with some online codes in hand...we'll see.

Anyhow, WM's ad might suck, but all else I know who have seen it say it's likely because they want a lower death toll this year. Seriously, perhaps the lawyers have cleared certain caps for deals and how they are presented. It wouldn't surprise me.

Despite the shaky status, RatShack really ought to get in on BF; even if just symbolically with lukewarm deals. Not having a BF sale gives off more of a smell of death than not, IMO. I ALWAYS hit RS after the biggies and walked away with buys...often more in quantity than others.

MicroCenter might grab my attention since they have expanded lately, and need more customers, and I still look forward to Fry's (if they'll allow online purchase), but I hold out little hope of much else.

Target! Usually my first stop but maybe not this year. Kohls has some items cheaper or the same price. I might start there. At least Kohls and Target are across from each other.

Kohls is winning me over with most stuff.... especially since they usually have a 15% off coupon that everyone can use AND kohls cash. If Kohls and some other places as the same item for the same price - I'm going to kohls. And then if they are all sold out THEN I will go to the next store lol
which generally the stuff I want at kohls do not sell out

I was excited last year cause I was going to be near an ikea for black friday but I was kinda bummed out that they don't really do a black friday sale. Or at least there wasn't anything on sale that I wanted lol
But I still managed to spend a few hundred dollars......

Yes you can always use $200 of cheap swedish items LOL
I have a coupon for $20 of $150 so I was hoping to use that and have a great sale

I was really hoping Kmart would ramp up their BF ad and make it better, but so far I guess I am not seeing anything additional.

I honestly haven't done as much studying as I typically do. I need to sit down tonight and study and make lists, and get my kids input.

We'll have company on Tday, so we won't make it an all evening shopping event. I'm thinking a couple of stores, come back, visit, and if we want we can go out in the middle of the night...lol

target's ad on their website still continues to say "Black friday PREVIEW" so it makes me wonder if they have something hidden.
Hopefully not all secret electronic deals.

Yeah I think Kmart's ad says that as well. I honestly was hoping our Kmart would have a really good tv deal for my son, so we could shop at our local store. But, I won't wait for any 'secret' deals...unless we exhaust other options first.
