This is ridiculous, much like the prices for a simple cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Not that this "thing" bothered me one bit, but I had a great idea for those nuts to get "vengeance" while really helping folks on either side of the issue.

Unfortunately, if it hadn't ended a few days ago, I'd recommend all do it (sorry, I wasn't here to post earlier), but I was buying a lot of veterans SBux cards and then merging them back to my card. I didn't lose a cent, and every $5 I spent on a Vet-donation-specific card generated/forced SB to donate more to the USO.

They do this annually, and whether you're pissed off at SB or not, it's worth doing. You can gift the card, keep it, merge it, and would even earn a rewards point if you pay with your regular card (yes, that works).
