Ditto. No snow amount is ever too much for me. BRING IT! :D

SN: It's never snowed on or near Thanksgiving as long as I can remember in the 35 years I've been alive.

I live in northern NY where we are known to get snow anytime from October - May. I love the stuff, to be honest. I only wish others who live around here could use a little common sense when they're driving in it.

the last few years here have been REALLY nice for BF. Last year I was in PA and while it was kinda cold it wasn't completely miserable. But no snow I don't think.

This year I'm going to Kansas City which makes me a bit nervous because they tend to get ice storms.

I agree.

I live in MN now, so there is little chance for us to avoid the stuff. I always like the first snowfall, but by the time the end of winter hits, I am pretty sick of it!

I love snow and last year up until the beginning of this year was the first time we had so much snow in VA. I loved it. Bring it on

So I comment earlier and say it has never snowed in my life on Thanksgiving. It's usually in the 50s.

Meteorologist just put on Facebook that the pattern is setting up where it could bring us a winter weather event on Thanksgiving.

I know it's too far out to predict anything and the weather changes constantly but I just found this amusing since I said something.

The way the weather has been all year I wouldn't be surprised if this winter ends up harsh. Unfortunately local meteorologists are just predicting a wicked cold winter not necessarily heavy snow :(

I here ya on that! The weather channel had snow flurries for us this past Saturday (11/1) and today I'm in flip flops. I don't think it has ever snowed here on November 1st. Seems like the weather is in a crazy pattern for just about everyone. Just for the record, I hope it doesn't snow here until after Jan 1!

I'll take your snow! I love it! Of course, I live in Texas where we don't get much of it at all. Occasionally we will get ice (not snow) and that usually shuts the whole state down. lol I'm sure if I lived some place where it snowed a lot, it might get old after a while.

What is this "snow" you "northern" people speak of?

I have never made a real snowball or built a real snowman (we put shaved ice in tents and call it snowfest here...lol)

We're all going to jinx ourselves!!!

We might get our first round of snow/wintery mix on monday, depending on how low the system gets.
