Breakfast ideas?

Postby azerigold » Mon Nov 25, 2013 5:31 am

I'm drawing a blank on this one.

Having family here for Thanksgiving this year - they will be staying the night Wed night/Thurs night.

I am not sure what to get for breakfast for Thanksgiving morning! Usually when they come to visit I make scrambled eggs, frozen waffles & sausage/bacon.
But the stove will most likely be preoccupied that morning, and I'm trying to make it as easy as possible so I can get the cooking done early. I 'might' be able to cook on my griddle/hot plate, but counter space is going to be limited.

Any ideas?

Kids can always have cereal, I'm more worried about the adults.

Griddle pancakes and bacon or sausage. Easy simple and all the clean up will be the griddle. Or donuts?????

Go with simple....buy some bagels and/or donuts and make coffee. No need to stress out over breakfast :-)

Thanks everyone I appreciate it. I don't have a crock pot, wish I did :( I might get one but not until BF to replace mine <got broken a while back>.
I probably won't have room in the oven to bake anything :(

Maybe we'll do eggs and frozen waffles on the griddle? Or bagels and donuts. I can pick donuts up at Kroger Thanksgiving morning while I am out.

Or... I can get bread/muffins at the Mexican bread store the day before. Forgot about that! They are so yummy, especially their muffins.

Not really breakfast but we use to always have Cheese and crackers and either summer sausage or pepperoni
