We try to finish all of our Christmas shopping by the end of summer. We typically start the day after Christmas and shop from then up until September/October'ish.

So true.

We start after Christmas each year and just keep going. BF for us is more about buying things we want and need, of course we buy gifts for our son then too. From about August on, we will decide if we really need something right then or if it will probably be cheaper on BF and try to get it then.

I bought my husband a couple of books - that's it so far. I anticipate buying 80-90% of my kids' gifts on Black Friday, and picking up a couple of things for my parents with online doorbusters, like I did last year. My in-laws are getting "gifts in a jar" (soup mix, cookie mix, etc), so I've been slowly collecting the stuff I need for those when it's on sale or when I have a coupon.

I haven't even started. I was waiting for the toy books to come out so I can get an idea of what my 6yr old wants. I am stuck on trying to figure out what to get my 12yr old.

I've gotten a few gifts done, a couple more half done, and a list of everyone else with what I want to get them written down.

My niece and my son are completely shopped for. My sister in law is done and her sister in law and her husband and three kids are done too. Started on hubby's but only have one order that he will be sharing with my son. Haven't even started on my new baby girl's at all and my grandma has nothing. So two out of four that live with me haven't got anything yet. My "adopted" parents are getting a gift basket of two aprons, a cookie mix, a spatula and some sprinkles for the cookies as well as hot chocolate mixes (I have the aprons and the basket).
BF nut in training!
