Yep, Thanksgiving meal tonight...

Turkey, stuffing, cranberries, sweet potatoes, green beans, my late great-Grandma's fruit salad, store-bought pumpkin pie, and best of all my "special" pecan pie (I add a secret ingredient that makes it extra special, although not to be consumed by kids *wink*)

Leftovers. We are eating at noon so supper tonight will be a grazing meal after shopping.

Trying out a new toaster oven to cook turkey drumsticks for the Thanksgiving meal. It has a convection feature which is new to me. Hopefully, using it will reduce the cooking time.

I had an acorn squash emergency intervention when I discovered one of my squashes was rotting on one side. I cut off the bad parts and am steaming the rest now.

I've already messed up twice today with my cooking. Left an empty pot on a burner that was turned on, but luckily discovered it before anything started seriously burning. Also, my cranberry sauce started to boil over. I rescued it just in time, but it left a tiny mess to clean up.

Made dinner and schlepped it up to my sister's. we had turkey, ham, dressing with gravy and cranberry sauce. Veggies fresh collards, peas, corn, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, cornbread, rolls, pumpkin, pecan, lemon and chocolate pies. Pound cake. Stuffed. Soon up for round 2. Happy thanksgiving!

Does eating leftover pie count as dinner?

Haha I had that for breakfast in between shopping trips :D For dinner last night, we just picked up some fast food and a six pack. Unhealthy but I don't care.
