5 stars for the experience but 4 stars for getting what I wanted. I didn't get it all, but I did get the important items!

Absolutely 5 stars. The Target in Fort Myers, Fl (dynasty dr) was like a well oiled machine. I am very impressed with how organized and knowledgeable their staff were and how they handled the event from start to finish. It was a MUCH different experience than last year when we did Wal-Mart.

Got everything I wanted plus some - spent too much money, but had a great time and my boys will have a happy Christmas.

Got most of what i wanted, not all, but I was also not super-competitive this year. I kind of liked being more laid back, actually.....

I got the majority of what I went for last night. For the season overall...I got more than I planned but some awesome deals.

It was about 80 - 90% successful as far as what I purchased. But was overall not really happy about the crazy openings and the stress at WM and TRU.

It was successful in terms of the items I bought. It was not successful because of the crazy crowds and trying to shop everywhere like we had years prior. There is no way I will be able to shop like that again. I literally shopped until I dropped. It took me a long time to recover this past weekend. I will either switch to only shopping with only hitting a few stores then bed rather than going at it all night.

I had a great time while I was out. The only thing I didn't get were the Walmart Wii games - but they didn't look to have anything more than what was in the ad, and it really didn't interest me.
So...besides that I got everything on my list and a few additions :)

My BF was great, but bc of the start times, I was up for over 24 hours, and spent 12 hours shopping, which was exhausting

bigevv and I had success, however we will never shop and watch our grandson without sleep again. He was good but we are just too old to go without sleep. We even had our first sleepover with him. Again, he was good, we were just worn out and spent most of our Saturday napping and sleeping. LOL  Mid forties and I felt much older. I would rank this a 4 stars... 5 stars for experience though, one of the better with organization. I'm glad we chose to go to the new Wal-Mart because the old one had some issues. It was that same store that in 2005 I was punched in the eye for a lap top. I think I know where I will go for BF from now on.

I was out shopping (15 1/2 hrs)from 5:30 PM Thurs. to 9:00 AM Fri. without a nap (25 hrs.). It was very successful but the start times left too much down time in between my stops. I was not excited about any of the sales this year. I did buy a lot & I know everyone will like what I picked up so far, but there are no WOW gifts. The one item I was really looking for was a desktop quad core computer for my husband and I couldn't find anything in my price range.

I did made a stop to Office Max to kill some time and pick up a memory card if they had any left & I got a great gift for my son that I did not see in the paper. This was probably the best deal of the day & it wasn't planned.
