It was such a beautiful morning, I wish I had gone back out today, but need a day to spend at home. It's noon and I am still in my pj's LOL
I've never done much 'scenic' type of stuff, so it was fun to just browse around.
Last fall we were in a drought, so everything was brown/crunchy/dead before anything could even remotely turn pretty. Such a treat to have the pretty colors this fall.
The whole reason I went out was to photograph a horse who is quite popular right now as she is being aimed to race against the boys next month in a BIG race.
Of course I knew the odds were against me since at 6:45am it's pitch dark outside, and the lights at our local track aren't very good <we don't have night time racing at our track>.
I had to manually focus in the dark, put my manual settings skills to the test and pray that I could manage 'something' since it's for media use...not going to complain too much...
At the track she'll be going too, the lighting is much better, so I hope to get some better stuff then...they have lighting set up for night time racing, so it's 20x better than our track's lighting.
