** TARGET CRASHED **

Postby XmasDVD » Tue Sep 13, 2011 5:28 pm

Missoni - never heard of it but they started selling this brand/item and the demand was so high, it killed the http://target.com website.

It's some "zig zag" pattern clothing line for women.

Check it out - no idea when it will be back.

OMG. Wth?!!?

I'm totally baffled by this right now because I was at Target today and some lady behind me had an entire cart full of this ugly zig-zag clothing. I was thinking "ew" first, and then "who the hell needs that much!?"

I've never even heard of the designer, but what on God's green earth has inspired such a high demand for this clothing line?!?!

eta: Can you tell I'm not picky about my clothes? lol.

It still is a luxury brand, but they diversify their product lines quite aggressively in the past few years. I bet half of the people buying them are going to sell these "spin-off" to other countries as the original, top of the line.

I bet you're right. I was literally in awe when I saw how much this woman behind me was buying today.

Yea pretty much. Don't want to offend anyone who might like the style, but it reminds me of something my grandma would pull out of her closet to "pass down" to me. lol.

I had to google this because it sounded familiar but yeh sounds funny to be crashing the Target site for it. However, if Target started carrying D&G handbags at Target prices I would crash or rampage a store for that. So to each his own lol.

Wow is all I can say. Takes you back to the 70's. Goodnes I cannot believe people would actually buy this stuff and then turn around and sell it for the amount they are. It is not that serious and I know everyone has different taste and styles but come on this stuff is just ugly

Sparkle, my thoughts exactly on the 1970's. The line reminds me of the afghan's my mom and aunts used to make. Sorry, but this clothes is just ugly IMO and doesn't exactly enhance ones appearance. If horizontal zigzags look crappy on a 25 lb model, they sure the heck are not going to look good on me!
