Woke up this morning at 5:30am to go to Herberger's Community Day sale to get some Christmas shopping done and looked out the window and saw all white and thought to myself "Really MN, it had to be today?" But of course being the Minnesotans that we are, my sister and I, braved the whiteout like conditions on the unplowed highway roads to do a little shopping. Don't worry though there was only a few "are we still on the road?" and "I think 35mph is a bit too fast."

All the while my mom and aunt, who I drove to the airport two days ago, are basking in the sun and beach while on vacation to visit my grandparents in sunny ole Texas....talk about dodging the shoveling bullet...

Snow would really add some Christmas spirit around here. My hubby and oldest son put up the Christmas lights in t-shirts! I just can't listen to Christmas music, put up the tree, and bake when its 72 degrees out side. How do you people do it living in the South? This Ohio girl needs her some SNOW (at least cooler temps)!

It was sunny and breezy here today with a high of 69 in central KY. Very beautiful day, and a shame I have a sinus infection so I spent the whole afternoon in bed trying to r&r :(

You'll have to upload them to a site like photobucket or flickr.

Then you can get the url, and use the "img" button. You want the code to look like:

Code: Select all

You get used to it and envy people who do get snow but that's it just the snow....not the cold or the horrible conditions to drive through or the slush....some parts of the south do get snow just depends where you are.
