Starting on Tuesday of the week, I would give out tickets to people spending a certain amount at the store, allowing shoppers to come into the store at 3am on Black Friday. Those 200 shoppers would get free coffee and first dibs on the sales. By doing this, I would have:
1. Sales in the till before BF
2. Customers ready to buy at 3am before they could spend it elsewhere
3. Courtesy help to the cars so that people would feel comfortable buying a whole lot of stuff and getting it packed before the big rush
4. Secondary sales starting at 4pm on Black Friday to start it all over again! (And offer next day pickup for people who already have a full car, and free delivery within 25 miles when the total is over $1K.)
But thats just me...
