or you can just layer your short sleeve t over a long sleeve t.

works. and adds a full extra layer.

just a thought...let's remember that it's for charity and doesn't need to get difficult!!!

If the 50/50 are lower cost then go for it. Everyone is trying to save right now.

ok, speaking as a professional screen printer here, I have some input.

preference of 50/50 or 100% cotton is very subjective. some insist on one, some on the other. yet in many cases, people wont know the difference if you dont tell them.
there are also differences in how a cotton shirt is made. ring spun is much softer, and to me feels great. you can also get lighter weight, softer feeling 100% cotton shirts, very similar to the trendy Hollister type of garments. when I buy shirts for me, this is what I go with. however, they do cost between 1 to 4 dollars more per piece.

the price difference between a standard weight 100% cotton and a 50/50 is negligible. on my end, it is usually less than 50 cents difference. but 50/50s tend to cost more than 100% cotton. its all based on quantity. the distributors sell way more 100% cotton than 50/50 shirts. same goes for kids sizes, usually cost more than adults.

the layering idea is great. if you buy a short sleeve shirt sized right, you could layer it over your own favorite sweatshirt, and still be pimping BFAds.net.

being in So Cal, cold weather is not a big factor for BF. usually a decent fleece, maybe a wind/rain shell just in case, and I am GTG.

maybe beanies (toques for those from Canadaland) or scarves with an embroidered logo on them?

Maybe we should start a '2010 logo submissions' thread and post images of our ideas, to get ahead of the curve?!?

I'm just still slightly ticked that I won one of these shirts last year and didn't get back quick enough to claim it.

Let's hope it happens again this year, only I remember to check in every day to see if I win.

If all else fails, you could always write Bfads.net on your chest and go shirtless :D
If it makes you feel any better, here's pictures of Myself, Michael, and friends giving out left over shirts to random people in line last year in the South Bay (San Jose, CA). Would've totally given you one if you came out

I love the pics! If you didn't know they were pics for BF, in some of them it would look like y'all were helping out the homeless...lol.

You know, going shirtless may not be a bad idea. I'm certain I could scare off some of the other shoppers. I may try that this year. If I do, can I get my picture on the front page or the top of the forum as the most dedicated shopper or something like that?

Sadly, I'm on the other coast from you so getting to you wasn't an option. This year though, I will get one. I've been around this site for far too long to not spread the wealth and share to others the joy that can be found here.

I live in Minnesota. I'll generally go in shorts lol. Last year was a cold one though, so I had to break out the sweatpants. Fun times, fun times. Perhaps I'll get in on a shirt this year.
