I need nothing right off the top of my mind, but I just wanted to post and say that my wife purchased autumn decorations yesterday. We now have some pumpkin stuff and leaves ready to go for next week.

It's coming folks, get ready.

It's nearly the end of August. I figure we'll start in early September.

Last year we went so overboard for Xmas this year we are toning it down a whole bunch. plus a disney trip in 3 weeks will also dent the funding for extras this year. most likely going to get a few toys for the kids and a giftcard for the wife. Im all tech'd out for now and only need tools for my business :p

This will be the first year I won't have my daughter's gifts till she's asleep to wrap them and put them under the tree. It's her first year of college and she's in Oklahoma (I'm in California). It's gonna be strange not having her check the tree every day to see if there's something new with her name on it.

OOH! Where is she in Oklahoma? That's where I am from, and it's great! The bummer about black Friday, though, is that we can't have loss leaders...

The way the weather has been...cool, a bit rainy and hi in the Hi 60s/Low 70s, it feels like autumn (first cool weather we have had since May!) ;)

I do live it!

That sounds sooooo nice!! Not here in Texas....we've had like over 20 days of 100 degree plus temps! I hate it.....BUT today we woke up to a cool front and it's been around 71-75 all morning...it's only supposed to get up to 89 today! Yippee! I think this marks the end of our heat wave here! Come on Fall!!!

in Louisiana, it has been in the 90s but the heat index was below 100 the last couple of days- That almost felt like fall to me! It's way to hot down here, ready for fall!
