Re: Thanksgiving - what's for dinner?

Dinner: Turkey Stuffing Yams Cranberry sauce Green beans Honey-butter rolls (fresh baked not that instant Pillsbury crap ) Dessert: Fruit salad Apple pie Jack Daniel's Pecan Pie (if I can find the time to make it this year) Oh, and probably a turkey and dressing sandwich with a slice of pie at midni...

Re: Best Buy

Okay so I have always been a BB camper except for the past two years I just did not go. Didn't see anything worth it. Basically that was the last time I shopped at BB (2 years ago). So yesterday I get an email from BB thanking me for my BB order of $140+ dollars. Yet I did not order anything and th...

Re: HOW do you shop on Black Friday?

I never bring any ads. As a matter of fact, I hate people who price match on BF, it just slows down the cashier at the register and aggravates everyone in line. I do scope out the ads ahead of time, making a list of what I'm looking for - this year it's video games and movies at Walmart/Target/Best ...

Re: Tearing into Walmart pallets early

This seems to be a widespread issue for Walmart stores nationwide actually. Although I don't know if it happened last year because I waited until 9am Friday to go *(and got everything on my wish list with the combination of 3 stores)*, I know people were ripping over the pallets for the games and mo...

Re: Curious would you....

I have no problem with shopping at secondhand stores for anything, but undergarments, bathing suits or exercise apparel. We've all got our pride to think of but seriously, if you would look carefully before buying something, no one except yourself would even know that you bought them at a secondhand...

Re: BF snacks

After a large turkey dinner with all the fixings, food is the last thing I'm thinking of while shopping! Coffee on the other hand is not only helpful, but required to keep me going all day for nearly 48hrs straight plus it works as a quick warm-me-up.

Re: Christmas Lights & Decorations

Christmas Decor usually goes up the weekend following Thanksgiving. We usually just line the driveway with lighted candy canes and snowflake markers and wrap some lights around the dead tree out front to liven it up and call it quits. Inside, we have a Christmas village scene set up - a county hospi...

Re: What do you want for Christmas?

Asking for: 2013 HESS Toy Truck (my parents started collecting them when I was a baby, and haven't missed a year since-I've actually got two from last year when I bought my own and later found out my mom bought one for me-Oops!). Other than that, just some uninterrupted family time. If money was no...

Re: So...what's your tday <BF> game plan?

I've been through a heck of a year, jumping from job to job before getting off the corporate wheel and going into business for myself. Because of this, I've got majority of my savings invested in my business which leaves very little to shop for myself or others. Tentative schedule: Thursday: 7am - 5...

Re: -=-=-=SHARE YOUR BF 2012 EXPERIENCE! - OPEN=-=-=-

Last year I waited until around 9am Friday to see what was left at Walmart, Target and Best Buy. I was only interested in a few video games and movies. I ended up getting the video games that were on sale ($25 Walmart) and stocked up on $50 worth of $2 DVDs and $4 Blu-rays. I wasn't looking for any ...
