Re: Lowe's

It's an ad I really like. I've been in the market for a carpet spot cleaner. The floor model is time consuming and cumbersome for small jobs. The Bissell Little Green will be a welcome and well used edition to my home cleaning arsenal. I'm trying to figure out how to safely move a dozen light bulbs...

Re: so sad

Lots of rants about USPS in this thread. Allow me to furnish some 4-1-1 about previous mentioned subjects. UPS Mail Innovation labeled items are off loaded by sack and pallet by a brown truck once it's FULL. This doesn't mean the same as timely, daily or ASAP. Addresses in non cost effective rural l...

Re: Walmart

Bar stools sold out, most of the BF only stuff is on the main aisles since it doesn't not have a UPC or shelf label for that store. Games like Madden 16, Fifa 16 Black Ops for the 360 were still lying around.

Re: Pep Boys

Good and bad shopping experience. Snagged a pair of Rainex winter wiper blades as an impulse buy. They were marked down from 19.909 to 14.99 each which is about what I paidy for Bosch winter blades last fall. Beware of false advertising pertaining to the oil rebate. The rebate form says there's a li...

Temps in the 50's til the cold front arrives this evening. Plastic bags will keep my merchandise dry from store to truck door.

Re: These impulse buys are killing me

I will go by WM later this ,morning to see if the bar stools are still standing. Swapped out an extra memory stick for a portable power supply last night. Curious to see how many blu ray players are left over since last year's batch survived the weekend. Kids clothes did the same thing. It's raining...

Re: Walmart

Forgot to add that there were more employees and police than ever. This was the first year no one loaded carts early. All registers in remote areas were closed at 6pm and I checked out once in a regular line and again through the self check via a WM employee with little waiting time. FWIW, 66 XBox b...

Re: Walmart

Was organized to the T and found out at the last hour my niece wanted the XBox one from there since Target's line was looooong. Ugh, Got a wristband at 4pm, sweet talked an associate out of a console in the game case at 5:30, he spider webbed it with the security hockey puck and cables. Was directed...

Re: Walmart

I wouldn't have expected WM to warm up extra servers for people wanting to shop from home. Store customers walk out with more merchandise and less money. Kudos to those who got through their purchase. Hope your orders are not canceled ala Best Buy from past BF's. I'll sharpen my elbows, darken my sc...

Re: Hrd Copy WM Ad in Hand

The local grocery and related ad package we get every Tue/Wed was a little thicker than usual. Opened it up and out rolled the Dollar General Store and Walmart's ad. I will check this thread periodically in case someone need the fine print or clarification not visible in the ad scan. Happy shopping...

Re: Walmart

With it starting at 6pm, I am kind of hoping they don't allow things to get opened too early, as I don't think I can get there until 5pm. Hoping to get my son a tv if we don't buy one on line before then, but we won't cry or die if we don't get it - he'll just have to keep looking. I really NEED th...

Re: Walmart

The pallets of lesser items like clothes and small appliances are ripped into and half gone with an hour to go. I still like jackets over my items and one person guards our cart at all times. I like to stage near the registers because some years they let us load the belt 10 minutes prior. The looks ...

Re: Walmart

I still can't wrap my head around Walmarts wrapping their pallets in plastic. I can honestly see how people get hurt trying to get to them. I'm just thankful our Walmart does it differently. The pros must linger hours ahead to be in the front circle and use a pocket knife to slit the wrap and extra...
