What is it with this cold? I felt one coming on last night too. I'm dosing up on vitamin c. Just took a cold and sinus pill. No more sick days left ;(
Well, at least it was after BF. I'd hate to be sick for the thing I look forward to all year.

I would still give the kids their gifts. It's not their fault that their mom has a crappy attitude about the season of giving. Next year you may want to give a smaller gift. Take the extra cash you saved and spend it on your kids. Or like some others have suggested....buy something for child/family ...

Thanks all for your suggestions. No, I'm travelling from Toronto. Last year I stopped at the Tim Horton's in Sudbury and grabbed a sandwich and I'm glad I did. Shopper X...that buffet looks good...not the part about the 'snap and eat crap'. I'm guessing that was 'crab'...which I love. A big buffet m...

Restaurants open on Thanksgiving?

I'm going to Port Huron on Thursday. Anyone know of any restaurant open for business? I remember I couldn't find any last year. Any suggestions (other than bringing my own food) would be much appreciated.

Good idea. Both my kids have bdays in January...2 and 5. Always looking for after christmas sales for the their bday presents. I prefer to get everything before christmas and divide up the gifts but doesn't always work out that way.
