Re: waiting on two ads

I wonder if bfads holds out on some ads to post them on days they don't get ads. Really most of the ads seem to be out except some I am looking for. Wouldn't mind seeing the meijer ad, hh gregg ad, and the menards ad. BF is a week from this friday so they should be getting the rest in soon. Na, the...

Re: Meijers....

I'm (not so) patiently waiting on that ad as well.
Everytime my phone beeps with an email I hold my breath. This is of course in between visiting Meijer's website hoping it will magically appear. Like food in the fridge

Don't remember the ad taking this long to appear in the past

Re: To the Admins!

I just plain**gush*** love this site. I admit I only jump in for the BF discussions and sale ads. I would love to take advantage of the other sales but this deal seeker is north of the border. I can't even take advantage of the online sales as most companies won't ship to me or the brokerage fee is ...

Re: Is this legal?

I'm still laughing.....Avon/Jehovah's Witness.....I'm going to try that next time. As for them soliciting additional services. Check with the banking regulators. They may have some rules regarding tied selling. At the very least, it would be frowned upon for any bank/credit union to pressure you in...

Re: White Elephant Exchange

How about a Canadian $10 bill? Its colourful....like monopoly money. you might be able to get a bill from the bank or I could mail you one. we're doing one of those here at work too. I've not tried the exact dollar amount route though. We normally do a $10-$15 gift. This year we're doing a 'wish lis...

Re: Kobo vs. Kindle

I don't have either but I'm more interested in where the Kobo is on sale this weekend. Two of my friends have the Kobo and they absolutely love it. Please let me know.

Re: Canadian shoppers

I ran into this problem a few years ago. Even with the mailbox set up they wanted a credit card from a US bank. This is what I did: Applied for RBC Centura visa (it is RBC but the US affiliate). After you receive the card call them activate it and change the mailing address to your home address. Use...

Had a friend, who's wife and sister in law went shopping at an outlet mall in Birch Run, MI. After shopping, they went to an Olive Garden. While they were inside eating, someone smashed the window on their van and wiped them out. Oh my.... That's really bad. I was in that area shopping too. We went...

Really good idea. Didn't think to do that. Last year was tough with the cart. Here in Canada we have to pay an extra 5 cents at most stores (grocery, drug, etc) if you don't bring your own bags. I have a stash of canvas bags ready to go Thanks for suggestion! Stores shouldn't have a problem with you...
