I was really hoping for a Prius and a pink "YOLO" shirt. Accompanied with a Nickelback thumbdrive. But, I guess I'll go with a Vega.

Okay, just spit my coffee!

Re: Age Cutoff for Trick 'r Treating - Poll

Only one person made a comment. I passed! That said, my kids are older, but spend a lot of time on costumes. That's why they go....

My kids believed a lot longer than most but at 15, 18, and 19 we still play Santa for fun.

Re: Need a loan...to buy stocking candy...lol

I only put a bit of candy in the stocking. Traditionally a Sees or Lindt Chocolate Santa peeks out the top. They are nearly adults now but still look forward to that Santa lol. After Halloween, I buy nail polish (with coupons), key rings, ear buds, lip gloss, and other little trinkets that are too s...

Re: Cat lovers

It's tough to see them get old. You have stuck by him though and are walking him through this time. I have seen several cats and a dog lately that have been surrendered to shelters because their owners didn't want to deal with the old age issues, or they have been replaced by a younger pet. It break...

Re: Hard to buy for teen!

I have an 18 yr old who is also behind her peers in many ways. Fortunately, she loves to read and draw and anything with Transformers or Dinosaurs will be a hit. Some ideas: Barnes and Noble gift card T-shirts and jewelry with favorite shows or movie characters on them. Nail polish organizer with a ...

Re: Cat lovers

We have five cats and two fosters. Our cats left the tree alone last year. The big foster (he's 19 lbs) should be fine, he doesn't like to come downstairs much. The one I am worried about is the cat who had the five babies. Now that her babies have been adopted, she's free from parental responsibili...

Re: The stopping in the middle of the aisle people

I ended up going shopping much later, but when I was first planning my early trip, my mom wanted to go along. My mom is 79. She has difficulty walking. I have seen snails race past her on a nature walk. There was simply no way she was going to go. First, the risk of her getting knocked over was too ...
