Re: Seatching for Deals on 80" LCD TV's Any Help???

I went ahead and picked up the Vizio 70" at the Sam's Club VIP event this past weekend as well. Can't beat the price for a 70" TV. I haven't set it up yet (been waiting to get my wall mount from Amazon), but hope to on Friday. We've had a 27" Vizio for several years and haven't had an...

Apple Store Teaser

This was posted on Apple's Australia site (I'm sure it will show up on the US site soon). The link below also mentions the discounts Apple had last Black Friday. They never slash prices very much, but one could save a few bucks... http://www.cultofmac.com/255729/apple-posts-teaser-for-black-friday-s...

Re: Target iPad $100 gift card Mini $75 gift card

Yeah, a couple of years ago I purchased an Xbox 360 at Target and got a gift card immediately. I then turned to my wife who was behind me and gave her the card and she used it on her purchase.

Ashland City, Tennessee Walmart...How Crazy is It???

Due to a bad experience with a Nashville Walmart last Black Friday, I was thinking of going to the above location this year. Anyone out there been to this Walmart on Black Friday? How crazy is it???

Re: Seatching for Deals on 80" LCD TV's Any Help???

What's wrong with an 80" TV? I'm honestly secretly hoping our big one goes out soon (even though it's not even a year old lol), so I can upgrade to an 80"... You can never get too big of a TV!! I know what you mean Our 60" Sony works fine, but I find myself wanting bigger. It's a rea...

Re: Seatching for Deals on 80" LCD TV's Any Help???

Man, I would love an 80" tv as well, but the prices are . There is a 70" Vizio on sale at the Sam's Club VIP sale this Sunday and in Walmart's Black Friday ad for $998. It's regularly $1,698. A 70" tv, especially a decent brand like Vizio, is an awesome deal. Recently, I've considered...

Re: Home Depot

Thanks for the link, pretty interesting, I need something full size, I started with Craftsman than Ryobi's because they were always on sale, Good tools, but, The batteries were not the greatest, a couple of years and they were useless. Of course battery technology has changed recently, so they shou...

Re: Home Depot

I messed up! I overlooked the difference between the kits. The Milwaukee has a screwdriver and the Makita has a drill/driver. Did you see the DeWalt 20V at Ace (and a couple other places) for $99 I did see that DeWalt deal. Thanks! I already have a full-size Makita 18v combo kit which is great for ...

Re: Home Depot

If I had to guess about what a competing home improvement store might want to offer as a similar deal, I would think they might offer something like this: Milwaukee M12 12-volt lithium-ion 2 pc. combo kit. The combo kit would include screwdriver, 1/4" hex impact driver, two batteries, and 30-m...

Re: Home Depot

I'm tempted to get either the Milwaukee or Makita 12v 2-piece combo kits. They are both $ 99 which seems like a decent price (the Makita set appears to be $159 on Home Depot and the Milwaukee set appears to be $ 169). I've used the Milwaukee set on a jobsite before and they have a lot of power/torq...

Re: Tearing into Walmart pallets early

I guess one good thing this year is WalMart's "1 Hour Guarantee". As our boys have completed their Christmas lists, I have noticed that most of the games they want are fall under this guarantee with the exception of just one game.

Re: Tearing into Walmart pallets early

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking of trying a different Walmart this year to see if I have better luck. The problem is it's in a small town and there are no other stores nearby (I.e. Target, Best Buy). Decisions, decisions...
