I love to shop (my hubby thinks I have some kind of problem, but whatever). BUT, I have to say, my children seem to be into down-sizing mode. When I asked them what they want, I'm not getting a lot of anwsers. Plus, the 2 older kids want bigger prices tagged stuff this year. I'm kind of bummed- our ...

I do have one trick or treater, but I buy the left-over halloween candy to put in stockings. Plus, my youngest has a brithday in December, so his party favor bags are full of halloween left-overs too ( I do make sure there are no signs of halloween on the packages). PLUS, I picked up Hershey Kisses ...

We took the kids to see the new "A Christmas Carol" last year on Christmas Eve. I loved it. My kids hated it. It scared the youngest, so much. I seen where it was coming to DVD and I said "I want to get that." He responded with "really, are you kidding me." I had to lau...

My youngest (who is 6) also loves legos. I'm not sure if some of these deluxe kits are what I'm looking for. I should have bought some at the lego store in Downtown Disney this year. There you can pick up what you want, as long as it fits and your bucket for one price. Is there an on-line store for ...

I was thinking about that too. I live about 20 miles from Wal-mart and I don't want to make the trip until the stuff is marked down.

I don't have a set dollar amount per child, BUT I do try to make sure they have the same number of gifts to open. We will take turns and everyone will watch the other open his/ her gifts. The age differences led us to this about 2 years ago. Now, the 6 year old might get only 200.00, an the 14 year ...

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. I have also thought about letting the purchasing of new clothes for candle light services on Christmas Eve go, the buying of new pjs for nice pictures on Christmas morning, the purchasing of real evergreen for house and front door, and a huge breakfast Christmas m...

Letting some Christmas traditions go.

I'm thinking about letting some tradition go this year. Has anyone else let somethings go? And how did it go? Was it hard or easy. Was it worth letting them go? I'm thinking about letting somethingS go, but I'm not sure if I should.

The earliest the kids have woke you up on Christmas morn?

There was one year the hubby and I were behind in wrapping, so we finished around 2:30am. That was the year the kids were up at 4am. We were so tired. We later made a rule "if you wake up before 6am, just look at the presents and the tree and leave us alone until 6am!" Oh, they are allowed...
