I will be using reusable bags this year since I'm going for mostly smaller things (DVDs, video games, etc) and both a cart and their baskets seem a bit tedious and bulky.

We have not ever had a problem with people taking stuff from our cart or our cart itself in the 7-8 years we've been doing BF. However this reminds me of a story about 4 or 5 years ago at Shopko. The store had just gotten brand new black carts and my mom was alone (I think she had dropped me off at ...

My parents, who live in the country, get all the ads on Wednesday since there is no country paper delivery on Thanksgiving. I live in town and will be going to a grocery store/gas station early on Thanksgiving morning.

Woke up this morning at 5:30am to go to Herberger's Community Day sale to get some Christmas shopping done and looked out the window and saw all white and thought to myself "Really MN, it had to be today?" But of course being the Minnesotans that we are, my sister and I, braved the whiteou...

Since I am the only one in my family who LOVES wrapping Christmas gifts, I'll spend an entire day wrapping gifts from my parents, sister and brother-in-law to basically everyone. I sit down at the coffee table with my wrapping paper and ribbon and my stack of Christmas movies. My favorite are: Chris...

I got a red Artisan for Christmas two years ago from my parents and have never had an issue with it. And I do a lot of baking, though I have not made heavy bread but I have done heavy frosting and mixes.

I go 3-4 hours early and am usually about halfway between the front and the back when they open the doors. This year I am going to a different Target so we'll see what happens. Everyone tells me that the one I'm going to this year is less busy and from what I have experienced, they're right. Last y...

I really liked Target's BF Ad....I'm wanting to upgrade my TV so the 32" looks great. There are other things we are going to go after as well. If anything I think Best Buy was disappointing compared to Target.

It's usually my mom, sister and I but last year my aunt came along which worked out so nice. My mom and aunt go off together while my sister and I go together. Last year my mom and aunt hit up Herbergers while my sister and I waited at Target (first in line!!).

What a hectic day its been!! At 3:50am dropped sister off at Target (we went to a smaller town this year) she was the first one there. Mom and aunt went to Herbergers. Walmart : I got to Walmart around 4am - not a 24hr Walmart like I'm used to so I had to stand outside! There was only one line forme...

Oh and to actually answer your question about other people skipping BF, I've heard of a lot more people skipping it this year than the last couple of years only on various BF forums. The few people I know that actually do BF are still doing it this year. But I gues we will have to wait and see tomor...

Hells to the no we are totally going out for BF!! Truthfully this year we found more things that we want than in the years past. I understand I'm in the minority though For example from Target we need the following: 2 Westinghouses, inflatable mattress, 2 cozy blankets, guitar hero for wii, wii &...

I'm quite excited myself! We need two tvs and various other things - mostly at Target. Even if there wasn't any doorbuster or big ticket items I would still go out for DVDs and such...its more the tradition than anything!
