Walmart sends us Spooky Black Friday Warning Letter

Walmart Spooky Letter Fully embracing the Halloween spirit, Walmart has continued their tradition of sending us a "spooky" warning letter advising us against the early posting of their Black Friday ad.

This year's letter certainly lacks the personal touch of previous versions as BFAds is not even explicitly addressed this year. Instead, we're now just one of the many "Valued Affiliates" that received this impersonal form letter.

The most interesting thing about the entire situation is the fact that for the past two years, Walmart has, seemingly unprovoked, been responsible for the early release of their Black Friday ad.

Last year Walmart released their ad on November 8, the earliest a Walmart Black Friday ad had ever been released. We have no idea if Walmart plans to release their ad early again and this is all just a smoke screen, but we'll hopefully find out very soon. And as long as the Walmart Black Friday ad is released early, we could not care less whether it's an official release or a true leak.
